About Me
My name is Derrick Davidson. Reading, writing, and teaching, are my biggest passions, and I hope that I am able to let that shine through me in everything that I do and say. I also enjoy making art in my free time, including painting, embroidering, and sculpting barbed wire pieces.
In terms of education, I graduated high school from Yukon High School. Following that, I moved to Edmond to attend the University of Central Oklahoma. I received my Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing from UCO in 2015, then I substitute taught in Edmond Public Schools for two years while I also got my certification to teach English. Now, I am back in school at UCO, getting my Masters degree in Creative Writing.
